From a curious kid to
building for the web.
I'm Sakshi Saha, a full-stack developer who builds production-grade applications and cares deeply about quality at every layer — from API design to interaction fidelity. I obsess over the details that separate working software from software that feels right: the timing of transitions, the precision of state handling, and the edges most engineers skip.

How it started
It started with wanting to understand how things worked at the system level. Watching requests travel across a network, logic branch across conditionals, and data persist across sessions — that feedback loop turned curiosity into an obsession with building things from first principles.
I spent long stretches debugging production issues, reading specifications, and learning from engineers further along. Over time, that expanded into Android Development and full-stack distributed systems — where a single decision about schema design or state architecture has downstream effects across the entire product.
While studying Computer Science, I co-founded Orbit Innovations to ship real software for real users. Our first product, ScholarX, serves university students with offline-first content delivery and exam tooling — 200+ installs on Google Play. Shipping from zero to production taught me more about database design, API contracts, and deployment pipelines than any curriculum could.
Now, I run a development agency. I work with real clients, design systems, build projects, write logic, and deal with production software. Some days are smooth, others involve late-night bugs and last-minute fixes. It can be stressful, but I enjoy the challenge. Making real products has taught me far more than tutorials ever could.
Along the way, I learned that engineering judgment is only part of the role. Communicating trade-offs clearly, translating ambiguous requirements into precise technical specifications, and staying composed when systems fail at scale matter just as much as the code itself. These aren't soft skills — they're system design skills.
What excites me most right now is watching the industry evolve in real time. The pace of change is intense. New tools, new workflows, and AI reshaping how we build and think about software. Things that felt impossible not long ago are now part of my daily work. It's exciting, and occasionally overwhelming, in the best way.
That sense of curiosity from high school never really went away. I still find myself experimenting late at night, reading about new technologies, and thinking about where all of this is heading. There's always something new to learn, something better to build, and something I don't understand yet. That's what keeps me here.

Technology moves fast. I invest time daily in emerging tools, underlying primitives, and the architectural decisions behind the software I use.
Done beats perfect
Perfectionism kills momentum. I ship early, gather real feedback, and iterate — because deployment teaches things planning never can.
Sweat the details
The gap between good and great lives in the edge cases, error states, and loading behaviour. These details compound.
Build for humans
Code is a means to an end. If reliability and usability aren't felt by the people depending on it, the implementation didn't succeed.
Beyond the Code
What drives me
I believe the best-engineered software disappears behind its utility. From micro-interaction timing to system-level architecture, that philosophy shapes every decision I make. The highest compliment a product can receive is that users forget it's software at all.
Outside of work
Outside of the editor, I follow developments in AI infrastructure, study design systems engineering, and occasionally contribute to open source tooling. I believe the engineers who stay technically sharp longest are the ones who stay genuinely curious longest.
